Policy for Customer-Centric Business Conduct

As an independent insurance agency representing multiple insurance companies, we are committed to placing ourselves in the position of each individual customer and recommending insurance products and services that are appropriate to their needs, taking into consideration their intentions, the purpose of obtaining insurance, and their personal or business circumstances.

We believe that our role as an insurance agency extends beyond simply selling insurance products. We are committed to understanding and addressing the various risks and concerns faced by our customers and supporting their peace of mind and the security of their personal lives and business activities through insurance.

Accordingly, from the recommendation of insurance products through ongoing policy management and support in the event of an accident or disaster, we will conduct our business with our customers’ best interests as our highest priority at every point of interaction.

1. Insurance Recommendations Based on Customers’ Intentions and Needs

When recommending insurance products, we will carefully ascertain our customers’ intentions, the purpose of obtaining insurance, required coverage, personal or business circumstances, and their existing insurance coverage.

Based on this understanding, we will identify and organize the risks surrounding our customers and provide clear and comprehensive explanations of the insurance products and coverage that may be appropriate to address those risks.

We will not recommend a particular product unilaterally without adequately understanding our customers’ intentions. We will strive to ensure that customers have sufficient information to make informed decisions and select insurance products with confidence.

2. Comparison and Recommendations Across Multiple Insurance Companies

As an independent insurance agency representing multiple insurance companies, we will leverage the breadth of products available to us to recommend products that are appropriate to our customers’ intentions and needs.

When presenting insurance products, we will comprehensively compare and assess factors including coverage, premiums, product features, and the service capabilities of the respective insurance companies, and select products that we consider appropriate for each customer.

Where we recommend a particular insurance product, we will clearly explain to the customer the reasons for our recommendation in a manner that is easy to understand.

Where a customer expresses a preference for a particular insurance company or insurance product, we will respect that preference and provide appropriate information and explanations concerning the requested product.

3. Clear, Fair, and Transparent Provision of Information

We will provide important information in a clear, fair, and transparent manner so that our customers can properly understand insurance products and select products that are appropriate for their individual circumstances.

In addition to coverage and premiums, we will appropriately explain key circumstances in which coverage may not apply, exclusions, deductibles, policy conditions, and other matters that may be important to our customers.

Where we compare and recommend multiple products, we will explain, to the extent reasonably practicable, the key features and differences among the products and the reasons for our recommendations, enabling customers to make informed decisions based on their own understanding and judgment.

4. Conducting Business in the Best Interests of Our Customers

As an independent insurance agency representing multiple insurance companies, we will maintain appropriate business practices to ensure that economic benefits, including commissions and other compensation received from insurance companies, as well as sales performance and other business considerations, do not improperly influence our recommendations to customers.

When recommending products, we will give the highest priority to our customers’ intentions and needs and comprehensively consider factors including product features, coverage, premiums, and the service capabilities of the respective insurance companies.

We will maintain appropriate controls and conduct appropriate reviews to ensure that our customers’ interests are not adversely affected by giving preferential treatment to a particular insurance company or product.

5. Ongoing Support After Policy Placement

Our relationship with our customers does not end when an insurance policy is placed. We will continue to support our customers as a trusted and accessible point of contact throughout the life of their insurance policies.

At the time of policy renewal, we will review the coverage and policy terms with our customers and, where appropriate, recommend adjustments to their coverage in response to changes in their personal circumstances, business activities, or risk profile.

We will also provide appropriate support for changes to policy terms and other administrative procedures, helping our customers maintain their insurance coverage with confidence and peace of mind.

6. Prompt Support in the Event of an Accident or Disaster

In the event of an accident, disaster, or other insured event, we will provide prompt and appropriate support to help our customers restore their peace of mind as soon as possible.

When we receive notification of an accident or other insured event, we will clearly explain the necessary procedures and the steps to be taken, coordinate appropriately with the relevant insurance company, and provide support throughout the insurance claims process.

We will also use the feedback and issues identified through our claims and incident support activities to improve our services and the quality of our business operations.

7. Using Customer Feedback to Improve Our Business

We will take seriously and respond sincerely, promptly, and appropriately to the opinions, requests, inquiries, consultations, complaints, and other feedback received from our customers.

We regard customer feedback as a valuable asset and will use such feedback to improve our product recommendations, policy administration, claims support, customer services, and other aspects of our business, with the aim of continuously enhancing the quality of our operations.

8. People and Organizational Framework Supporting Customer-Centric Business Conduct

To ensure that customer-centric business conduct is effectively implemented, we will provide our officers and employees with ongoing education and training covering insurance products, applicable laws and regulations, insurance solicitation and sales rules, compliance, product comparison, and appropriate recommendations.

In evaluating our business activities, we will not place undue emphasis solely on insurance sales performance. Instead, we will place importance on appropriately understanding our customers’ intentions, providing clear and comprehensible explanations, and delivering appropriate ongoing support after policies have been placed.

9. Continuous Improvement of Business Quality

We will regularly monitor and review whether our business activities are being conducted appropriately in accordance with this Policy.

Based on customer feedback and our assessment of insurance solicitation and policy administration, claims handling, and other business activities, we will review and, where necessary, improve our business processes, internal rules, education and training programs, and other relevant measures.

Through these ongoing efforts, we aim to be an insurance agency that earns the trust of our customers and remains a reliable and trusted partner to whom they can turn for advice and support with confidence over the long term.
